Beast isn't great as receiving that much extra damage is basically the same as giving potentially multiple opponents a free buff against you. If you're fighting someone with SSBE, that's basically them having a 55% total increase to their attack at a major discount compared to your 30%. Beast not consuming any ki is also meh ... .
