Meaning there is no incentive to the dev for making the player sink months and months into trying to finish just a handful of tasks in the game. If Melvor were free and sold time progression items then i get the reasoning, because you would make your money on skipping the grind.It really depends on how much you "speedrun" the game. I'm not trying to complete the game as fast as possible and it's probably going to take around 2 years to complete (currently around 1.3 years). If you were to try and finish the game as fast as possible you could probably do it somewhat quickly (like a year or so).To idle the dungeons, you need to meet hitpoint and damage reduction requirements.
